The revised date for the Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) of the South Hampstead Cricket Club (“SHCC”) is
Sunday, 25th February 2024 at 3pm. The AGM will be held at SHCC, Milverton Road, London NW6 7AR.

The agenda for the AGM shall be:
1. To receive any apologies for absence.
2. Financial update including receiving SHCC accounts.
3. To receive a report on the activities of SHCC since the previous AGM.
4. To elect Club Committee positions to serve until the next AGM in 2025. The Club Committee positions for election are:
• Chairman
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Fixtures Secretary
• Junior Manager
• Development Manager
• Players Rep
• Volunteer Coordinator
• Social Secretary (relevant experience desirable)
The Committee also has a Welfare Officer (this is an appointed post, and not for election). Refer to Note 1 for further details.
5. To elect team Captaincy positions for the 2024 season. Captaincy positions for re-election are:
• 1st XI
• 2nd XI
• 3rd XI
• 4th XI
Captaincy gives an automatic place on the Selection Committee. Refer to Note 2 for further details.
6. To consider any other business put to the meeting. Refer to Note 3.
Voting will take place at the AGM on the 25th February 2024. Refer to Note 4.

Notes to the Agenda:
1. The SHCC Committee will meet in advance of the AGM to consider for approval or otherwise, nominations for Committee positions, being those that were received by the 3rd of January 2024 at 11.59pm.

2. The SHCC Committee will meet in advance of the AGM to consider for approval or otherwise, nominations for Captaincy positions, being those that were received by the 3rd of January 2024 at 11.59pm.

3. The SHCC Committee received a signed notice on 22 January 2024 from more than 10 members requisitioning an EGM to discuss the following business: “The new season is 3 months away and we wish to elect new captains, winter net and bed in new structures for next season. We all feel new, energetic, competent and conciliatory leadership is required to move the club forward”. In accordance with the requirements of the SHCC constitution, election of Committee members will be conducted at the AGM. The business of the AGM also includes election of new Captains. Members shall also have the opportunity to put forward any other business properly to be put to a general meeting
of SHCC during the “Any other business” part of the AGM. The Committee will separately revert to the requisitionists, all of whom will also receive this notice of AGM which covers, or gives them the opportunity to cover, the business that they wished to address.

4. SHCC is not a legal entity. SHCC (the “Cricket Section”) along with South Hampstead Tennis Club (the “Tennis Section”), are sections (essentially subsets) of South Hampstead Club Limited (the overarching Club of the Cricket and Tennis Sections) (the “SH Club Ltd”). SH Club Ltd is a company limited by guarantee, is the legal owner of the land currently used by the Cricket Section and Tennis Section and the committee of SH Club Ltd has final governance say and control over the Cricket Section and the Tennis Section. The committee of SH Club Ltd have confirmed that all fully paid-up adult members of the Cricket Section whether playing or non-playing (i.e. social) are entitled to vote in the SHCC AGM.
